PastorexTM RangeLatex Identification Tests

A family of rapid, sensitive latex agglutination tests for direct identification from isolated colonies on culture media or for direct detection in specimens.

■ Complete kits : latex reagents, control(s), disposable agglutination cards and sticks

■ Flexibility : latex dropper bottles, control reagents, cards (and enzyme extraction for Strep) available individually as well

■ Colored latex particles : clear reading

■ Identification of each latex dropper : bottle with a color-coded cap

■ Metallic droppers : calibrated drop of latex reagent delivery

■ Negative control reagent : detection of non-specific reactions

■ Specific detection of soluble antigens of Neisseria meningitidis groups A, B/E. coli K1, C and Y/W135; Haemophilus influenzae type b, Streptococcus pneumoniae, and Streptococcus group B

■ 7 latex reagents of different colors specific for each meningeal bacteria, both negative and positive controls; available in individual dropper bottles as well

■ Direct assay from cerebrospinal fluid specimen and blood culture, respectively within 10 and 5 min (after sample preparation)

■ Bacterial grouping directly from fresh isolated colonies within 2 min

■ Agglutination card with distribution pattern, white and black circles to enhance the different colored clumps observation :

■ Detection of group-specific polyoside antigens of the cell wall of the Streptococci belonging to groups A, B, C, D, F, G

■ Freeze-dried extraction enzyme, 6 latex reagents of different colors coated with homologous antibodies specific for group A, B, C, D, F, and G streptococci; positive control; available in individual dropper bottles as well

■ Flexibility on enzyme extraction : from 5 to 10 ß-hemolytic colonies in 300 µl of enzyme solution, for 15 min at room temperature or 10 min at 37°C

■ Bichromatic agglutination in 1 min maximum :
