What is Pennies from Heaven?Pennies from Heaven is the UK’s largest micro-giving scheme for employees. When employers join the scheme their staff will have the opportunity to donate the pennies from their pay to charity. Employers select one or a basket of charities to whom everyone’s donations go to. UK charities to date have received over £4 million pounds via the scheme.

How does it work?Signing up is easy. Staff complete a short form or sign up on line and from then on every salary is rounded down to the nearest pound with the pennies donated to charity. The most anyone can give is 99p every time they are paid.

Is it easy to set up?Yes! The scheme is simple to set up and runs on most payroll systems. Pennies from Heaven sets up and administers the scheme for employers including artwork design, distribution of donations and access to online sign up.

Is it just for large employers?It works best for employers with 1000+ staff, that said some employers with less than that (~700) operate the scheme just because they love it!

What will it cost an employer?Employers pay a small charge to run the scheme which can be a � xed fee or a deduction from donations. Pennies from Heaven endeavours to � nd a fee to meet all budgets and employers should contact them to discuss options.
