Permalife Inc. is a manufacturer and distributor of a large variety of highly detailed architecturalelements. Our products are made using the very latest in high tech materials, including polyurethanes,polystyrenes, polyesters, filled fiberglass resins, solid and expanded PVC, and silicone rubbers.Ourmanufacturing methods include high and low pressure mold cavity fills, rotational casting, CNC ma-chining and assembly, heat forming, and vacuum casting. We combine all these modern, state of the artmethods with a lot of good old fashioned carpentry and woodworking methods to create some of themost beautiful and interesting architectural products available today. But the best feature of all theseproducts is the fact that you will enjoy years and years of maintenance free pleasure from our properlyinstalled products.

Our regular customers will notice some changes in this new catalog.There are many new items.Many of our previously listed items have been rearranged to make them easier to find. These sets give the user the advantageof lower cost in many cases, as well asbeing able to attain greater heights thanmost traditional types of columns. Permalife will supply suggestedmethods for finishing PVC pipe. How-ever, we will not provide any warrantypertaining to the ability of any finish toadhere properly to the surface of anyPVC pipe. PVC pipe is not load bearingand can not be split.

Thesesquare columns can bemanufactured as monolithic units orthey can be split so as to beinstalled around existing steel orwood support columns. Permalifesquare columns are not designed tobe load bearing, but we can installinternal support members on aspecial order basis. Please specifywhen ordering. Round Tapered Fiberglass Column Made of fiberglass reinforced polymer (shaft, tuscan cap, &base) Finish None provided. For field finishing, start by roughingup surface with 100 grit sanding sponge. Apply high qualitylatex or oil primer and finish with the appropriate latex or oilexterior paint. Load bearing Can be ordered SPLIT to wrap existing posts. (Requires re-assembly and finishing on the jobsite. There is additional costfor this option. Once columns are split, they are no longer loadbearing. Tuscan cap & base are standard (shipped loose and pricedseparately) with a variety of decorative caps available. Sizes 8" x 8 to 12" x 12 are stock in smooth & fluted. Largersizes up to 36" x 24 available (special order). Columns can be trimmed for height by cutting from thebottom using a masonry blade in a circular saw.Many of these sizes can also be ordered as Straight Shaft

Permalife Inc. manufactures many sizes of sunbursts,sunburst segment, gable sunburst, and specialties suchas trapezoid sunbursts. Customizing these sunburstsis something we do better than anyone else. If youneed a special size to fit over a window, or into anunusual gable, just order the next size larger andspecify cut down to: We also apply many customtrims to our products. Arch trims, Louver trims, Key-stones, Rosettes, or whatever you think will make yourproduct unique. You will see many examples of thisthroughout our catalog. Any product that we cut downor modify is finished to appear as though it was madeas one piece in a mold. Permalife attention to qualityand detail is second to no one. While many of our sunbursts are stock items, pleaseallow a little extra time for modifications, which willfluctuate with business and seasonal conditions.

Diamond Scale Panels Fish Scale PanelsPermalife Inc. fishscale and diamond scale panels are rather unique offering. They are available in upto 136 base and 54 in height. They are custom made, within these size limits, to your specifications.You can order them slightly oversized, and cut them to fit on the job, or you can have us make themto the exact size you need. These panels offer savings over vinyl panels because you wont wastematerial on angle cuts, as well as the labor savings of completing a gable installation in one piece.And the fact that they are maintenance free and one piece puts them out of reach for comparison towood. These panels are designed to be used in gables only up to the size specified. They are notdesigned to interlock or overlap. For gables larger than this, we recommend a good interlocking vinylproduct.

All arch trims can be made with or without key-stones. All arch trims are made on a custom basisto your specifications. Standard widths are 3-1/2,4, 5-1/2, and 6, but you may specify any width.We try to make most arch trims in one piece,however, due to handling and/or shipping con-straints, some larger arch trims may have to bemade in two pieces.

WHV55 and WHV8 CrossheadWHV55 and WHV8 crossheads are available inany size up to 18 lengths. They are availablewith or without keystone.
