How o trigger a Planeary MeamorphosisThe Renaissance is an example of a planetary metamorphosis. The secret

of triggering a planetary metamorphosis today is to create an OrganizationalMovement of Imaginals. The Organizational Movement of Imaginalsderives its inspiration from the metamorphosis of a worm to a butterfly asa metaphor for inner and systemic transformational change. The key to thistransformation is the emergence of new cells, called imaginal cells. They arethe new cells of the future butterfly. They are an image or building blocks inthe present of a future reality: the butterfly.

In societies around the world, there are imaginal individuals who bearwithin themselves in the present, the future possibilities of humanity.

An imaginal, displaying a minimum of four traits: Onewho has consciously developed, at minimum, beginning aspects ofPersonal Mastery including self-awareness, selflessness especially in onesmotive for action, co-creation with others, altruism, optimism (the capacityto meet challenges in a creative manner and thus never give up) and anunshakeable spiritual alignment with the intentions of the Divine Intelligencesthat are active in shaping the world or God, Brahma or Allah, in the languageof many cultures around the world; One who places this Personal Mastery in the service of the world in theform of an inspired initiative;

Onewho actively seeks the creation of higher forms of collectivity and

collective action (including but not limited to a synergy of initiatives) and,upon this platform, engage in similar activities in the larger social worldin order to birth a new societal order that nurtures imaginality and thusadvances true human purpose and dignity. One, who finds time, in addition to existing responsibilities and the aboveimaginal activities, to reach out and communicate with and be in the presenceof other imaginals, in order, among others, to mutually enhance the depth andeffectiveness of the three other dimensions of imaginality enumerated above.

The key findings of Network Science provide valuable clues on how to dothis. The organization should have the following characteristics. Segmented: greatest latitude and leeway for local decision-making andactivity. Polycentric: multiple leadership at multiple levels of organization. Integrated: harmonization of the different decentralized efforts to ensurecoherence at higher and greater levels of organization. Network: seamless and continuous communication across all nodes.
