CCI Secretariat
• Government of Grenada agreed to host CCI Secretariat for its first term.
• Communication and coordination functions.
Secretariat functions
• Organize regional CCI meetings, including “Solution Dialogues” on key marine topics
• Maintain web platform to support action (www.carribeanchallengeinitiative.org)
• Track progress on CCI • Develop tangible tools to support CCI (e.g.
searchable database of funding sources) • Encourage new countries, companies and
partners to join

• More formal structure to provide strategic direction and facilitate collaboration
