Job DescriptionA photography job can take many different forms. Some photographers freelance, others run their own studios or work for companies as salaried employees. Photographers can also further customize their careers by choosing to specialize in a certain kind of photography.

Necessary skills These are some skills you would need to become a photographer;•Creativity: you need to be creative to get a good picture or a scene.•How the cameras work: you need to be able to work a camera if you want to use it.•Light: you need to be able to get into a place where the light doesn’t glare off your picture.

Education for a photographerPhotographers work in areas such as the fine arts, news reporting, advertising and science. Many photographers prefer to be self-employed and only a small number hold salaried positions. A fine arts undergraduate degree in photography is needed for entry-level positions in the field.
