Quick selection tool is not great quality. Looks for things as the same color. Stay as far away from edges as possible.

Start from center then then click and drag and push to outer edges. Get corners and move out that didn’t get sleection.

Go to channels panel to see the selection again or go to the selection menu then choose load selection.Copy and paste him to a new layer or ctrl+J (copy and paste will automatically get you a new layer.Rename your layer.

Turn eyeball off on background.

Click on circle button at bottom of panel Choose solid color.

Double-click square to change background color.

Get back to original image by turning off teddy and color layers.

Pen Tool Tips Select (ctrl)Single click then single click somewhere else you will draw a straight line.

Click off the path to stop drawing on the path. Draw straight line: hold shift to constrain 45 degree angles. Hold down shift before second click to get the straight line.

Hold Ctrl key mouse turns to a white arrow direct select. Click off the line and it will end the drawing. Anchor points disappear.

Click on existing path/anchor point/handle to adjust.

Click and hold to draw curves.

Work path

Rename existing work path to create another one. Paths by default are invisible.Using pen tool.
