PITTSBURGH MAGIC 2014 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

THE SCHOLARSHIPOur first annual Pittsburgh Magic Scholarship Awards are presented to the individuals who display our core values of respect, determination, sportsmanship, dedication, & commitment to the club.Each winner will receive $500 towards their Pittsburgh Magic 2014 2015 Season Tuition.One member from each of the 3 travel teams from the 2014 season were chosen by a poll of their peers & the Pittsburgh Magic Coaching Staff.

& THE WINNER ISJADA JONESJada is a sophomore Middle Blocker/Hitter from Keystone Oaks High School. She will be entering her 3rd year with Pittsburgh Magic. She has really impressed her coaches & peers with her positive attitude and commitment to Magic. Jadas leadership and calm demeanor enables teammates to stay calm & positive even during the tough times. We are honored to call her a part of the Pittsburgh Magic Family & look forward to another season of tremendous growth. Congratulations Jada!

& THE WINNER ISDANA NARDOZZIDana is a sophomore Outside Hitter from Keystone Oaks High School. She will also be entering her 3rd year with Pittsburgh Magic. Her commitment to the sport and to her Pittsburgh Magic teammates has been outstanding. Her intense & focused personality enables her to be a huge asset during practices & tournaments, helping to keep everyone focused on the ultimate goal. Her peers and coaches agree that Dana is a dedicated athlete and a committed teammate on & off the court. Congratulations Dana!

& THE WINNER ISREBECCA ROTHRebecca is a sophomore Outside Hitter from Baldwin High School. She will be entering her 4th year with Pittsburgh Magic. In the opinion of her coaches & friends, she contributes much more than just her superior volleyball skills to the program. Her loyalty to the club, her respect for her teammates, and her positive attitude make her more than deserving of this honor. We look forward to many more years of watching you grow as a player & a young lady ! Congratulations Becca!
