1 Poinsettia Palette March 2014 2014 Issue 3 PRESIDENTS MESSAGE It was wonderful to see so many at the February meeting. We had fun and got lots done. Liz and Mona had a great St. Patrick’s Day project for us to do. We got the budget approved for the year. You got to see the pattern for the shirts we will be doing in March to wear at SDP Conference. And there were some very nice painted projects in the “Show & Tell”. I always enjoy the show and tell portion of the meeting. I hope all of you who went to the Las Vegas show will bring your projects to share at the March meeting. Also, if you saw a particular project or teacher you would like us to have at one of our paint -ins. Please get the information to me or Karen so we can try to get it booked. At both the January and February meetings, Mona asked for volunteers to host our June pot luck. This has always been a popular gathering for our group so please consider hosting this event. Contact Mona if you have questions. Wear your St Paddy’s green to the meeting. Don’t forget to bring items for Tender Life. REMEMBER to “spring ahead”! The day before our meeting is the day to move all your clocks ahead one hour – and you will not be driving to the meeting in the dark! Do something nice for yourself this month and bring something you painted to show at the meeting on March 10th.
