Pollux, the compact spotlight forversatile use.The versatility of Pollux, underwrit-ten by its compact format, displaysparticular strengths in museums,shops, the catering industry or res-idential environments. As a specialhighlight, Pollux also includes con-tour spotlights with LED. Using theframing attachment, their sharp-edged beam can be adjusted to suitthe format of images and objectsin the room or on the wall.This creates wonderful effects thatare particularly valuable in muse-ums and galleries. Its understateddesign means that Pollux is also

excellent in combination withother spotlight series or as a grad-ual addition to existing lightingsystems.

Oval flood freely rotatableThe oval flood Spherolit lens can befreely rotated with round luminaireheads to optimally match thelighting to various objects.

Contour spotlightsFraming attachments enable asharply defined light beam. In thisway fascinating effects can becreated with contour spotlights,where crisply illuminated picturesappear to illuminate from within.

Zoom spotlightsThe light beam diameter can beinfinitely adjusted from spot (15°)to wide flood (65°) by simply turn-ing the lens. Zoom spotlights areparticularly suitable for illuminat-ing areas with changing exhibitsand merchandise.

Small luminaire dimensionsSmall luminaires are discreet andplace the focus on the light itself.Compact luminaire dimensions areparticularly advantageous withsmall rooms.

AccentuationPollux spotlights accentuate art-work, products and architecturaldetails effectively. The ideal angleof tilt (y) for this is around 30°.The object is modelled withoutdistorting the effect as a resultof excessive shadowing. It alsoprevents shadows cast by theobserver.

AccentuationZoom spotlights feature a continu-ously adjustable beam angle. Withthe spot to wide flood zoom range,smaller works of art can be accen-tuated effectively at an inclinationangle (y) of approximately 30°.The oval zoom is suitable for linearworks of art. The object is modeledwithout distorting the effect as aresult of excessive shadowing. Italso prevents shadows cast by theobserver.


Contour spotlights ProjectionSpotlights with framing attach-ments enable freely settable, crisp-edged light beams. As a result fasci-nating effects can be created wherepictures appear to illuminate fromwithin. The ideal angle of tilt (y) is30°.

For good longitudinal uniformity,the spacing (d) of Pollux lens wall-washers may be up to 1.2 times theoffset from the wall (a).
