Employer: Total Environment Building Solutions, Imagine Campus, Whitefield.Work Description:To develop a 1:1000 scale terrain model for the firms “Pet Resort @Ooty”.On completion the terrain model represented the 70acres of hilly terrain at 0.5m interval.Each 400gsm sheet being one interval, a total of 550 sheets represented the whole terrain.

Duration: September – November 2012.

Work Description:Women’s Apparel Retail Showroom @Kolar Gold Fields.Access existing store conditions and prepare design, 3d visuals, electric layouts, and fitouts.

Work Description:Primary School @Mulbagal.To assist in site survey and provide specific design inputs.

Co-Authored “Devil and Deep Sea: Modernity & Tradition in 21st Century India”,Seminars on Architecture, School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, India.2nd - 4th November, 2011, Proceedings.Introduction.From the beginning of time, society has always been shaped by two forces, tradition and modernity. Tradition by definition is not a thing of the past, but is the inherited and complex evolution of all things cultural, social, conventional and institutional. Whereas modernity may be defined as the irreversible advancement that profoundly affects a society.The conflict between tradition and modernization has been a very dominating debate in the fast changing modern world where every person faces contradiction between their traditional culture and modernization. The conflict itself arose due to the misinterpretation of both the meanings of tradition and modernity. Modernity today has come to be dominated by ideas of modernism as it has been made the symbol of modernity. Whereas modernism is defined as estrangement from the past including any trace of tradition. It is due to this misinterpretation that these two elements become two contradictory forces in India today.etween the devil and the deep sea refers to being stuck in-between two difficult situations with no good alternative. In present day India, modernity and tradition pose as opposing choices in which neither offers a favourable outcome. One cannot alone choose either modernity or tradition. Those who chose tradition alone are cut off from present times and those who chose modernity are in reality choosing modernism whose principles are not entirely in sync with the Indian way of living and thinking.

Authored “Concrete Inception: from architects first sketch to the built”(Research Question: How far is an Architects Sketch responsible for Innovation in Construction?),2011, Dissertation, School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, India.Prelude.What would the future be fifty years from now? Will there be a paradigm shift? What would the future city look like? How will architecture evolve? What form will the future urban scape take?To answer these questions one needs to understand the evolution of architecture in modern times and the driving force behind these design trends. There are many directions that can be pursued in search of these answers. This dissertation in its present form explores one among the many directions.To manifest a design, today the construction industry borrows heavily from technologies which are not native to it. This study tries to trace the evolution of such construction technologies, the origin of that need, its relevance and its future.

Music of all art forms, is a very essential stimulating phenomena, it connects people with a youthful feeling that knows no bounds.

Appreciation of aural phenomena’s that surround us can make a plethora of difference in our daily life, they can make remote events more conscious to us, thus being aware of our surroundings and involve in it. This being the germ of the thesis.

The idea behind the thesis was to cater to the needs of inculcating, nurturing and promoting music into the lives of youths, by the means of an experiential music centre, which highlights the aura of music, in-turn helping to foster a zeal in the visitor to appreciate and learn music, and in doing so realizing the richer experience that engrosses us.

Haat Bazaar- Paragpur, Himachal Pradesh.A documentation of the heritage village of Paragpur was followed by a design exercise of a Haat Bazaar, set in the mountainous terrain of Paragpur.

Play School Design – New Delhi.A Case study of playschools around Delhi was followed by a design exercise to understand the functions of a play school and to address the issues by providing a new design approach.

Second year 3rd semester.

House Design- Suncity Gurgaon.The main emphasis put forward by the client was accommodating party space.Thus the design had three terraces and a pool side lawn also integrating a lemon tree court in the family room.


House Design- Unitech Faridabad.The design was arrived by integrating square profile tubes in three planes.Emphasis was on the orientation of the built form.The final outcome included a winter terrace, a sky roof which lit the family space, and a front lawn as a winter season sit-out.


Cube for Thought – Hauz Khas Island, Delhi.The cube for thought was a form exploration exercise.

The exploration was an introduction to 3D modelling softwares.

The brief demanded to accommodate a meditation space within a cube. The context being an Island in a lake surrounded by Hauz Khasmonument.
