The Aranuka BPL-System

The Aranuka Headend (LH200) will be installed in substations (transformers)

or others junctions of the low-voltage system and connected with its

Ethernet Port to the backbone network. (UMTS, Wireless, Wimax fiber optics

or xDSL).

In order to cover larger distances Aranuka Repeater (LR200) are installed in

distribution cabinets or connection boxes.

The LR200 establishes links to all of its neighbouring devices and therefore

forms a meshed structure which ensures reliability and redundancy

It receives the data from the previous device and passes it on to the following

along the line

In the meter room/roof an Aranuka Gateway (LGW200) is connecting meters

via wireless M-bus interfaces

One LGW200 can serve several meters, therefore only one BPL Gateway per

house and/or meter room is necessary

DIN-rail housing has been

specifically developed to be fitted

into the meter cabinet
