Introduction

Planning & Development Associates is a chartered town planning and development consultancy. We work across the UK for a range of both public and private sector clients. Our experience encompasses a diverse range of sectors, from residential and commercial to health and education. Our ethos is simple: optimising potential, creating value. We achieve this by providing our clients with practicable and achievable planning and development solutions to protect and enhance the value of property assets. Our emphasis on providing specialist advice tailored to client needs ensures that we are able to deliver a flexible and responsive service to guide clients through the complex and evolving planning system. With the rise of the localism agenda under the Coalition Government and the National Planning Policy Framework, the planning system is undergoing significant changes which clients need to be aware of and understand to ensure that they can navigate the planning landscape successfully. At Planning & Development Associates, we have assembled a team who are well placed to advise on planning strategy in response to the changes and shifts in the planning environment, translating the practical implications of the latest legislation and policy to the benefit of our clients. Crest Academies, Neasden Planning permission for the redevelopment of existing academies to provide improved facilities and increase capacity from 1,750 pupils to 2,050 pupils.

Campsmount Technology Centre, Doncaster Obtained planning consent for the construction of a new three storey secondary school together with landscaping and access and sports pitches

Croydon College, Croydon Planning permission for an extension to the College to provide an additional 3,452 sq.m of space including an improved and enlarged entrance lobby, a learning resource centre and teaching theatre

Old Ashford Hospital, Ashford Planning permission for a mixed-use development comprising a health centre and new residential dwellings which retained part of the former hospital building which was of local historic interest
