Consistency and Quality…
What can we do to overcome challenges?• Having a learning and development vision and encouraging that across agencies
• Ensuring clear capacity building strategies and needs assessments are done in advance with a long-term vision
• Encouraging through global focal points, local level buy-in and management participation
• Ensure we are targeting the right people, at the right level, for the right training
• Preparedness… not feeling like we are ‘chasing our tail’
• Ensuring coaching and mentoring elements are components of the long term vision of the training delivered, not just the training itself.
• Assistance to adapt materials
• Pre-workshop materials used as pre-requisites for training and how to build in assessments
• Global and regional resource pools to tap into
