Conclusions
•
Many different quality assurance schemes are present in EU at the moment
•
In some cases, an overlap and redundancy of schemes is present
•
In other cases, important figures of the quality of care for breast cancer patients are missing
•
A more sustainable approach is needed, shifting from a mainly national to a more integrated supranational perspective
