RECYCLE PICK-UP DAY IN FOREST CITY CHANGES TO WEDNESDAY
Forest City – The City of Forest City will change recycle pick-up days for the community. Mason City Recycling will no longer be picking up Forest City recycling as of August 6th. Beginning August 7th, Forest City Street and Sanitation trucks will pick-up recycling using the following schedule -
Residents living South of J Street will have recycling picked up on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. Those residents living on J Street (the North and South side) will have will have recycle picked up on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. Residents living North of J Street will have recycle picked up on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month.
“Don’t worry if you see recycling being picked up by a City garbage/dump truck. All recycling will be delivered to Mason City Recycling.” Says Mayor Barney Ruiter.
