PRIMERA ART• Allows students with previous art

experience to work at their level and be challenged• It is an accelerated program for 6th and 7th

grade• It is an enrichment program for 8th grade• Students can take part in Primera

Art/Music/Spanish simultaneously (in 6th grade – in 7th/8th grade they will have to make some choices)

PORTFOLIO Required only of students who did NOT attend Pioneer The purpose of the portfolio is to make sure the class

is a good fit – a challenge to help student build skills, but not overwhelm the student

Needs to be labeled with:Student NameParent NameContact Phone Number

Due by Friday March 7th, 2014 All Portfolios will be returned ELECTRONIC PORTFOLIOS ARE ENCOURAGED

Take pictures of the artworks and send them as attachments in an e-mail to: [email protected]

abilities/interests Neatness helps Make sure all elements are represented – a Google

search for art terms will help demonstrate if you are unsure of some

3D art should be shown in a photograph

(to ensure safety of the artwork) Make sure your portfolio is carefully labeled so it can

be returned
