GEMINI 680 is a rutile austenitic-ferritic coated electrode with a 25-30 % ferrite content. STEEL CORED 19 HD is a seamless copper coated rutile flux cored wire with an enhanced degree of fill. Due to its easily controllable weld pool, the welding characteristics are outstanding. It can be welded in all positions with only one parameter setting (24 Volts, wire feed 9m/ min, wire dia 1.2 mm). The enhanced degree of filling results in increased current carrying capacity and deposition rate thus increasing welding speed and leading to a saving of time and costs. Low spatter loss, easy slag removal, smooth and finely rippled welds are produced without undercut into the base metal.

MMA WITH OR WITHOUT PFC PFC (Power Factor Correction) is a function for welding with high output using small mains fuses. The Delta 180 E with PFC can be used with up to 50 m long mains cables which is very useful for site welding operations or in case of large voltage drops on the mains supply. A Delta with PFC will easily operate with up to 40% voltage drops.

The Delta 160 E without PFC, featuring well-known technology, hotstart, and arc control as standard is still available for markets or networks not requiring PFC. With the scratch ignition, the Delta 160 E without PFC and the Delta 180 E with PFC can also be used for simple TIG welding.
