The ULTRA-1000 CPU featu res English menu driven programm ing capability when employing the m odel PC-UL1 Program ming Cartridge. This cartridge, when inser ted in eithe r J1 or J2 of the CPU motherboard, enab les the system to be easily configured for sophisticated and diverse applications. For m aximum program ming speed and convenience an ASCII computer term inal or personal com puter can be substituted for the serial hard copy printer. Physical dimensions are 4" x 1.75" x .5" (10.16cm x 4.45cm x 1.27cm).

The digital comm unicator PGC-8M is a plug-in modu le for the ULTRA-1000 Processor. A cable from the com municator is inserted into an RJ-31X telephone company jack . Any num ber of rem ote sensors can be program med and mapped onto any of the eight channels to report sensor events. W hen triggered by a sensor violat ion, the comm unicator seizes the telephone l ine and au tomatically d ials the remote fixed cen tral stat ion to report it's sensor violat ion information to a d igital receiver. Personnel at the central station alert the responsible agencies by telephone for a response to the site which reported a violation . Physical dimensions are 4" x 3.25" x .75" (10.16cm x 8.26cm x 1.9cm ).

The RM-40 provides forty program mable outputs which can interface with four banks of eight relays M odel RB-8C. This powerful com bination p rovides the means to interface w ith exist ing systems w ith a Form C output relay contact per remote sensor. The ou tput relays can be programm ed in one of th ree output modes: fol low sensor event, latch ing, or momentary, and can be p rogram med to activate on one of th ree events: on sensor violation , on sensor bypass, or on access codes.
