ITS CORPORATION

The Petroleum and Petrochemical Industry in India is about 100 years old. However this

industry started investing in Research and Development in mid-seventies. ONGC and

Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. being the top oil companies of India took a lead in this area

requiring substantial investment. R&D leads to development of new products,

improvement of existing products, process optimization and the resultant cost savings

etc.

ITS Corporation started operations at about this time as a consulting company to equip

clients with Micro Reactors/Pilot Plants and Testing Rigs required in research and

development.

Universities and research institutes are also undertaking research in Petro chemistry and

development of new plastics. The micro reactor / pilot plant are the ideal tool to teach

students in Chemical Engineering and Refining processes how to handle and exploit a

catalyst on a typical refinery reaction.

Our client list includes Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and also Sabic Research and

Technology the leading company in plastics worldwide. Our major clients have been

Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Bharat Petroleum

Corporation Ltd., Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun, Chennai Petroleum

Corporation Limited, Kochi Refineries Ltd., and Oil and Natural Gas Commission.

In 1997 ITS Corporation commenced a technical collaboration arrangement with Vinci

Technologies, Nanterre, France. ITS has been their partner company for the last 18

years.

ITS Corporation has been supplying and commissioning Pilot Plants and Micro reactors

for research in Petroleum Refining and other petrochemical processes. We have worked

for the projects of Vinci Technologies destined for India and also for third countries.

PROMOTER'S BACKGROUND

Vinci Technologies is a leading international manufacturer for Pilot Plants for Petroleum and Petrochemical and hydroprocessing industries. Vinci Technologies is owned by IFP (institute Francais Du Petrole) which is the second largest licenser in the world for refining and petrochemical processes. Vinci Technologies has worldwide reach and installations in most countries.

ITS Corporation was promoted by Hardyal Singh Sekhon. He holds a degree in

Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering (with Honors) from the Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh. Two years of job experience was gained with Blue Star limited in their computer sales Division selling Hewlett Packard computers.
