    To protect waterproofing membranes against impact andabrasion damage from site traffic and from coarse or sharp

    materials during backfill operations.

    Description

    Fosroc protection boards are tough, rot-proof, bitumen

    impregnated boards used for protecting waterproofingmembranes against physical damage.

    Specification

    The waterproofing membrane shall be protected frommechanical damage by a protection board, nominal thickness

    3.5 mm, supplied by Fosroc. Such protection board shall beweather, water and rot-proof.

    Instructions for use

    Fosroc protection boards can be cut with a sharp knife.

    On both horizontal and vertical applications, boards shouldbe abutted and joints taped using 50 mm wide strips of self

    adhesive membrane cut from the roll.

    Protection boards should be adhered to the membrane usingFosrocs Plastiseal bitumen rubber, cold applied sealant.
