Buma�s FingerTration!SEEING IS BELIEVING...The performerborrows a paper bill currency from anyspectator and displays both sides of the bill.The performer then folds the bill in halflengthwise, this is held horizontally in theperformer�s left hand with the now foldedover section of the bill facing downward. Theperformer then points upward into the foldfrom underneath the bill with the index fingerof their right hand, directly at the center ofthe bill�s open �middle�.

The performer now partially inserts theirright hand index finger into the bottom ofthe bill�s open center when suddenly theythrust their index finger right through thecenter of the bill, �in one side and out the

other� the performer�s index finger is now actually seen to be emerging from atopthe other side of the bill, its �outside� surface.

The performer now lifts up the folded part of the bill to better show his indexfinger actually penetrating through the bill �in one side and out the other.� Theperformer then turns the penetrated bill vertically and visibly retracts his indexfinger completely out of the bill only to be seen visibly re-thrusting his extendedindex finger back into the vertical bill, only this time through a different spot onthe bill. The performer is now seen to visibly slide their penetrating index fingervertically up or down, right through the center of the bill when suddenly they areseen to pull their finger completely out of the bill. The performer immediatelyflattens and displays the bill to show there are, in fact, no rips, tears, holes or slitswhatsoever, for the borrowed bill is unharmed. The performer then returns thebill back to the spectator in pristine condition.

The effect goes back to the Hoffman books from the early 19th Century. Themagician lifts the top of the vase and shows a ball of color. He then vanishes theball and returns to the base (Pill Box) and upon lifting up the top�Lo & Behold�the ball has returned to the vase! Viola! But, hold on a moment...He then liftsthe complete ball out of the vase and tosses it up in the air! It has returned to itshome.

Ingenious construction is involved with this effect. Quite possibly one of the hardestto produce of all types of wood pieces of magic. It takes an artist to make acomplete set of these. We have taken this vintage effect andcompletely revamped it. All new mechanisms make this new version even more ofa fooler, and it can now be done close-up!

A wooden cabinet is shown with the doors open in the front and the back so theaudience can view completely through the case. Twelve cubes are shown withplaying card pips on some of their sides. A card is freely chosen�NO FORCE.The blocks are placed randomly in the cabinet and the doors are closed. The cardis now revealed and the doors are reopened to show that the cubes have beenmagically rearranged to depict the chosen card! The blocks are then pushed ontothe table and may be examined. Performer gesturestoward the spectator trying to put the hat back on his head - but the spectatorwill have none of it. Del Ray Computer DeckAn Authorized Version! Routine goes likethis... A spectator shuffles and cuts a regulardeck of cards. A card is freely selected. Theperformer gives the deck a shuffle and cut. Thespectator is then asked to cut the deck intofour piles. The computer deck is handed tothe spectator who then places the deck on anypile.
