Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, recovery program for anyone struggling with hurts, hang-ups, or habits of any kind.

Since the beginning of time, men and women have searched for happiness – usually in all the wrong places, trying all the wrong things. But there’s only one place where we can find tested-and-proven principles that will lead to healing and happiness—The Bible! The principles come from the words of Jesus in Matthew 5. Today we call them the Beatitudes.

These Beatitudes (8 statements) are God’s pathway to wholeness, growth, and spiritual maturity. By working through these 8 principles and the Christ-centered 12 Steps, you will restore and develop stronger relationships with others and with God. Remember, the power to change comes only from God’s grace.

In our group we will be Bible Journaling by reading and discussing scripture while putting a personal and visual creation to it. Scripture will come alive and leave a lasting impression through mixed media.

Disc Golf League Location: Squirrel Run Disc Golf Course Thursday @ 6pm Led by Jon & Timothy Fobes

For Everyone; all ages Group is currently active. This group is open to all ages who have an interest in playing Disc Golf together. Weather permitting, we’ll meet at the Disco Golf Course located at Mosquito Lake, near the dog park. We’ll start at the pavilion at the beach for a short devotional and prayer, then play for about an hour. It’s free to play. The cost to purchase your own disc is approximately $20.

For Adults & Teens Group is currently active. Love to golf? Then join our league. It’s co-ed and open to any adults and teens interested. Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Mom and Me Location: varies 1st Thursday @ 10am Led by Carrie Mulllins

For moms. Group is currently active. Moms need other moms! This group is designed for moms to get together and connect and also let our kids play. Even if your kids are older and are in school, you are still welcome to join us. So, bring your children and come hang out with us. The location will be different each month, so be sure to follow our Facebook Group “Mom & Me a Life Group of Life Church.”

Piecemakers Location: Leavittsburg Reach Center Thursday @ 12pm Led by Verna Patrick

For Women. Group is currently active. Do you love to quilt or have you always wanted to learn? This group of experienced and new quilters gathers each week to work on their projects together. You’ll even be taught something new from time to time. Bring your sewing machine, supplies, and projects.

Jesus' final instruction to His followers was to "go and make disciples." As Christ followers, this is a life -long process and not a final destination. We are on a journey to grow stronger and go deeper in our relationship with Him and Life Groups can guide us along the path throughout this journey as well as help us build authentic connections with others.

Wednesday Night Series Who is the Holy Spirit, and exactly what does He do? Many people find the Holy Spirit mysterious and confounding. Why is the third person in the Godhead – the one Jesus said would be the believer’s ultimate source of truth and comfort – the source of such confusion?

Join us at Life Church on Wednesdays @ 7pm as we dig a little deeper and begin a new study by Robert Morris titled, “The God I Never Knew: How Real Friendship with the Holy Spirit Can Change Your Life.”

The Holy Spirit wants to have a relationship with you. He has committed Himself to be your teacher, comforter, and guide. It’s time to experience the Holy Spirit in a fresh, new way!

Grandparents Are Praying (GAP) - Grandparents, come pray for your children and grandchildren. 1 Samuel 1:27-28 NLT “I asked the Lord to give me this boy, and he has granted my request. Now I am giving him to the Lord, and he will belong to the Lord his whole life.” And they worshiped the Lord there.

For Everyone. Group is currently active. Have you ever felt an unexplained burden on your heart to pray for our community, church, pastors, unnamed others, or the world at large? Well, this is what Intercessory Prayer is all about, lifting up others in prayer as Ephesians 6:18 tells us to: pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.

For Everyone. Group is currently active. Dive into God’s Word and discover the truths of the scriptures with others. Currently, the class is focusing on a through and in-depth study of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Acts 2:4 (NKJV) And they were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.

For Women. Group start date to be announced. God gave us emotions to experience life, not destroy it! We stuff, we explode, or we react somewhere in between. Filled with gut-honest personal examples and biblical teaching, Unglued by Lysa Terkeurst, will equip you with tools you need to resolve conflict, find peace, identify what type of reactor you are, respond with no regrets, and more.

Discipleship / Bible Study / Topic

Just like a car, we need fuel to help us in our walk with God. A fuel that supports and strengthens us to keep moving forward and grow as Christians. And guess what, a one-time fill up just won’t do!

So we invite you to “Refuel” with us on Wednesday nights at 7pm at the Leavittsburg Campus. Refuel offers groups for all ages and gives each of us the opportunity to be disciples and life-long students of Jesus Christ through worship, solid, biblical teaching, and community.
