deploying agents to remote computers.
80 The agent deployment strategy should also consider use of the following agent deployment methods: a. Active Directory Group Policies to deploy agents at domain login b. login scripts to deploy agents at domain login c. Use of existing 3rd party software distribution tools as available. d. Manually installing the agent where no other methods succeed.
81 The agent should be configurable for quiet periods in which no work is done and with throttling features at client and Server sides.
82 The Agent should be able to coexist with other end point clients like Trend Micro antivirus, DLP , Application whitelisting Solutions etc.
83 The Solution must be capable of proactively reporting changes to managed devices within few minutes of detecting change or upon executing any action deployed from the server.
84 The Solution should have ability to clone out-of-box policies or create custom policies into custom collections for unique security considerations (i.e. – clone specific controls that target specific agents).
85 The Solution should have ability to either change the parameters for the individual control or enable/disable controls based upon security requirements.
86 The Solution should have the ability to create exceptions within the policies.
87 The Solution should perform integrity check of all actions deployed on the managed devices by verifying the digital signatures and checksum digest.

21 | P a g e
88 The solution should automatically assess covered Devices against required compliance configurations and share detailed reports of compliance levels against each SCD Point. The Reports should be available in multiple formates like OS Wise, Branch wise, Aggregate Summary report for each point etc.
89 The Remediation of non-compliant items must be automated within the solution such that the device is made compliant without user intervention.
End Point Vulnerability Management
90 The Solution should be able to identify and fix the SANS Top 50 Vulnerabilities and also Windows registry Vulnerabilities in case of EndPoints .
91 The Solution should be able to identify systems with non-patched vulnerability conditions and identify these conditions without performing a network scan.
92 The Solution should allow the console user to deploy actions to remediate against the vulnerabilities identified.
93 The solution should automatically assess Windows endpoints against required compliance configurations and Vulnerability databases and if the endpoint is found to be out of compliance, the solution should have capability to place the endpoint in network quarantine.
94 The Remediation of non-compliant items must be automated within the solution such that the endpoint is made compliant without user intervention.
95 The Solution should also be able to target the Vulnerabilities for identification & remediation based on any particular property retrieved .
Request for Proposal for Implementation, Monitoring and Management of IT Service Management & IT Asset Management
22 | P a g e
96 The Solution should be able to enable or disable any port or device on targeted agents as a policy action. The Solution should also be able to start/stop any service, enable / disable any network share or USB on targeted endpoint.
97 The Solution should support the ability of the agent to perform ‘self-quarantine’ if agent is not at a certain compliance level based upon policies the agent is monitoring.
98 The Solution should also be able to detect and remedy IE Security Configurations
Dashboard & Reporting Requirements
99 The Solution should provide Dashboard that shows in near real-time (within minutes) the compliance status of all agents being targeted against out-of-box compliance policies or Bank's defined SCD policies without the need of installing, configuring any additional scanning engines.
100 Dashboard must have the ability to drill down to show details for both compliant and non-compliant systems including but not limited to non-compliant controls, component name, category, identifier and type.
101 The Information reported should not be more than 1 day old for devices that are active on the network.
102 The Solution should have ability to create multiple reports within the dashboard to map to Bank's security requirements and environment.
103 The Access to reporting function should be controlled based on rights assigned by the Master Administrator.
104 The reporting module should contain, but not limited to, the following reports:

(i) Progress of all patches applied (ii) Number of vulnerabilities detected by month; (iii) Total number of computers managed and the distribution of these computers; (iv) Top 10 most common vulnerabilities detected;
105 The Solution should allows console operators to create and save graphical reports (e.g. pie, bar, line charts)
106 The Solution should allow console operators to customize and save the reports without the use of third party reporting tools
107 The Solution should allow console operators to drill-down from the report to the specific computers.
108 The Solution should allow console operator to trigger alerts when user-defined conditions are met.
109 The Solution should show trending and analysis of security configuration changes through advanced reporting.
110 The Proposed solution should also help in verification of Banks SCD Compliance over Databases, IIS, Microsoft AD, Exchange, Citrix ZenApp, VM Ware etc.
111 The solution should receive and act on vulnerability and security risk alerts published by the SANS Institute.
