Help Viewer

File Print the current help information to a device.

Exit the Help Viewer.

Edit Start editing the current help text in the Text Editor.

Activate the selected hypertext link and show the help information in the current window.

Activate the selected hypertext link and show the help information in a new window.

Temporarily leave the bshell. Press <Ctrl>[D] or type exit to return to the bshell.

Worktop

File Create a new Worktop document, which defines a working environment for you. A wizard starts to help you configure the working environment.

Open an existing Worktop document. You can select the document to be opened.

Close the current Worktop document.

Save the current Worktop document with its settings and shortcuts.

Save the current Worktop document to a new file name and location. The file extension must be .wtd.

Import: Import shortcuts from other Worktop documents or locations in your computer environment to the current Worktop document. Shortcuts can be, for example, to applications such as Microsoft Excel, and to shared documents.

Export: Export a shortcut from the current Worktop document to a location from which you and other Worktop users can import the shortcut.

Print the business process figure that is displayed on the Process tab in the Work area.

Display the business process the way it will look when printed.

Display the properties of the current Worktop document.

Lists the recently used Worktop documents. You can click a document from the list to open the document.

Close the Worktop. Your latest settings and shortcuts are saved.

in the Work area to the Clipboard so that you can paste it into another application.

Attach a yellow note to the selected tree item. Use the item's pop-up menu to read, edit, or remove the note.

Edit Show or hide the shortcut bar. If the shortcut bar is displayed, a check mark appears next to the command.

Show or hide the navigation area. If the navigation area is displayed, a check mark appears next to the command.

Show or hide the work area. If the work area is displayed, a check mark appears next to the command.

Show or hide the properties area. If the properties area is displayed, a check mark appears next to the command.

Redisplay the Baan Menu Browser and the Baan Process Browser according to the latest information on the Worktop server. You can select the area to be refreshed. F5 refreshes all the areas. This command has a visible effect only if the information on the server differs from the information on your computer.

Show or hide the toolbars and status bar. You can select the component to be displayed or to be hidden. If a component is displayed, a check mark appears next to the command.

Show or hide one of the selected objects in the navigation area. Note: The object types apply to the Baan Process Browser only.

Perform specific actions on the selected tree item in the Navigation area.

Expand All: Expand the selected tree item and all its sub-tree-items.

Collapse All: Collapse the selected tree item and all its sub-tree-items.

Role(s): Display the role(s) that are linked to the current selected tree item. This command applies only to the Baan Process Browser tree items for which role(s) are defined.

Properties: Display the properties of the selected tree item.

Perform specific actions on the selected business process or process instance on the Work area's Process tab.

Help: Display the Help that is linked to the process.

URL: Open the URL that is linked to the process.

Support Application(s): Open the support application that is linked to the process.

Actual Size: Set the zoom factor of the Process tab to zero.

Fit in Window: Zoom in or out the Process tab so that the complete process is displayed in the visible part of the window.

Zoom In: Increase the zoom factor of the Process tab.

Zoom Out: Decrease the zoom factor of the Process tab.

Show Parent Process: Display the parent process. This command is enabled only if the process is a subprocess.

Show Process Header: Display the process header on the Process tab. The header contains process information such as the version, project model, process name, and creation date.

Show External Codes: Display the external codes of the model items in the process.

Role(s): Open the Role dialog box that displays the roles that are linked to the process together with the authorization.

Properties: Display the details, last change, and general information of the process.

Change the properties and the order in which the properties are displayed in the Properties area.

Go menu Activate the previous command that is listed on the History tab. This command is enabled only if an earlier history item exists.

Activate the next command that is listed on the History tab. This command is enabled only if a later history item exists

Open the selected tree item in the Navigation area.

Tools menu Perform a search of the tree items in the Navigation area. You can search on the descriptions, or on Baan session codes.

Allows you to change the current company number.

Start the Baan session that you specify.

Allows you to set up your Worktop preferences.

Window menu Start the next Worktop document in the list of opened Worktop documents.

List the currently opened Worktop documents. A check mark appears in front of the Worktop document that is currently active. Click a document from the list to activate it.

Help menu Display the Worktop online Help topics and select the Contents tab.

Display the Worktop online Help topics and select the Index tab.

Change the pointer into a question mark. To display Help, click an item in the window with the question mark pointer.

Other functions Start the Baan session of which you entered the session code in the Session field.

Create a shortcut to the selected object and save the shortcut in the Shortcut bar.

File Run the specified program or session, including its arguments (if any).

View the utilities linked to the current process. A utility is a list of auxiliary sessions that can be activated.

Define the resources used by the process flow menus.

Help Display the help information related to the Enterprise Modeler.

Display the help information of a process flow component, menu item, or button in the toolbar. The mouse pointer changes into a question mark and arrow. Click on any process flow component, menu item, or button to read the corresponding help information.

Delete a desktop including its groups, items, and properties.

Edit the properties of a desktop.

Run the specified program or session, including its arguments (if any).

Exit the Desktop Manager.

Window Arrange the windows of opened groups on the desktop. The windows are cascaded, which means that they are stacked on top of each other based on a default offset.

Arrange the windows of the opened groups in the desktop. The windows are tiled, which means that they are placed next to each other on the desktop like tiles on a wall.

Arrange the items within a group or the group icons on the desktop. The items or groups are arranged from top to bottom, and from left to right.

Select a group from a list of groups within the current desktop.

Edit Select the first line of a text block or the position to which a block must be written.

Select the last line of a text block.

Move a block to another position in the file. The first and last characters of the block must be selected by means of the Select Block options.

Copy a block to another position in the file. The first and last characters of the block must be selected by means of the Select Block options.

Delete a text block. The block must be selected by means of the Select Block options.

Align the selected block to the right. This option only applies to bidirectional languages.

Paste a block that is copied using the Copy Block option to the current position of the cursor.

Insert a specific number of blank lines above the current line.

Insert a single blank line above the current one.

Delete an entire line or part of a line. All characters to the right of the current cursor position are deleted. If the cursor is on the first position or behind all characters on the line, the entire line is deleted.

Undo the last deletion of (part of) a line. The line (or part of a line) reappears where it was deleted. This can only be done for (parts of) lines that were deleted using the Delete Rest of Line option

Delete a word at the current cursor position.

Mode Toggle between the graphic mode and the normal mode. In the graphic mode, the cursor keys can be used to draw boxes and diagrams. Remember to switch to the normal mode for normal cursor movements.

Insert a text so that text positioned to the left of the cursor is pushed to the left. This option only applies to bidirectional languages.

Toggle between English and bidirectional languages. This option only applies to bidirectional languages.

Toggle between the left and right alignment of text. This option only applies to bidirectional languages.

Position Go to the first position of a specific line within the text. If the specified line number is greater than the total number of lines in the edited file, the cursor is placed on the last line of the file.

Place the cursor at the first position of the first line of the text.

Display the previous page.

Display the next page.

Place the cursor at the first position of the last line of the text.

Display the current position of the cursor. Both the line and column numbers are displayed.
