The Regional Portfolio is a tool that was created to facilitate the marketing of food products from the Outaouais region. This project allows to gather in one place different products in order to facilitate the link between producers/processors and retailers, restaurateurs and institutions wishing to supply with regional quality products.

FERME FERME AUX PLEINES SAVEURS Ferme aux pleines saveurs has been producing a large variety of vegetable and fruits, all certifi ed organic with Québec Vrai, on about 20 acres of land since 2003. The family farm is located in Saint-André-Avellin and distributes its produce year round trough regional businesses (restaurants, natural food stores, distributors, etc.) Freshness and quality are the hallmark of all the produce.

Our jellies – from pink to amber, tangy, roasted or spicy, jellifi ed strictly with natural pectin from wild apples and crab apples that grow on our farm – go wonderfully with ice cream, chocolate, yogurt, cheese, vegetable stir fry and shellfi sh.

Products

Highland meat is one of the leanest on the market. The animal grows a very thick coat and doesn’t need to develop subcutaneous fat to keep warm in winter. It’s a hardy animal well-suited to our clime. Highland cattle grow slower than conventional meat cattle, which is more than made up for by the quality of the meat. Our meat is cut and aged in a slaughterhouse under provincial supervision, to be later vacuum packed and quickly frozen.

FERMEFERMEDU VALLON HIGLANDWe raise natural suckling calves and Highland cattle which give a meat with a slightly wilder taste than conventional beef. Our animals are raised in a peaceful environment. They live outdoors, eating herbicide-free and GMO-free grasses. They are hormone and antibiotics-free. Once in a while, we feed them grains as a treat.

Ferme aux Saveurs des Monts produces chicken sausages that are both nutritious and healthy. Chicken meat, herbs and spices, eggs and animal casings – that’ all. No pork or gluten or any preservative. Grain-fed and antibiotic-free chicken. Raised at a natural growth pace in Outaouais, chickens from Ferme aux Saveurs des Monts are fed exclusively from cereals and roam freely in their coops for 9 to 10 weeks. This makes for a more plumb (2 to 3 ½ kg) and tastier chicken. Chicken parts (breasts, boneless breasts, thighs) are prepared at our premises under provincial supervision.

The cheese name comes from the quite common French-Canadian saying ‘Ça prend pas la tête à Papineau’, which translates to ‘You don’t need Papineau’s brains’, referring to the great orator Louis-Joseph Papineau.

Our Pure Cranberry Juice can be mixed with any liquid of your choice (1/3 cup of juice to 1 litre of liquid). Dried cranberries are a nice addition to cereals, salads, mixed nuts, or can be used to make chutney or jelly. Our jams are great on toasts, with cheese, with white or dark meats, with pâtés, etc.

The ice wine Marie Guinois was created by the owner of Vignoble du Clos Baillie to honor the memory of his late grandmother born in Haute-Savoie. The wine wants to emphasize the spirit and determination of a woman who has left an indelible memory with her loved-ones.

Highland meat is one of the leanest on the market. The animal grows a very thick coat and doesn’t need to develop subcutaneous fat to keep warm in winter. It’s a hardy animal well-suited to our clime. Highland cattle grow slower than conventional meat cattle, which is more than made up for by the quality of the meat. Our meat is cut and aged in a slaughterhouse under provincial supervision, to be later vacuum packed and quickly frozen.

Our animals are raised in a peaceful environment. They live outdoors, eating herbicide-free and GMO-free grasses. They are hormone and antibiotics-free. Once in a while, we feed them grains as a treat.

Grain-fed and antibiotic-free chicken. Raised at a natural growth pace in Outaouais, chickens from Ferme aux Saveurs des Monts are fed exclusively from cereals and roam freely in their coops for 9 to 10 weeks. This makes for a more plumb (2 to 3 ½ kg) and tastier chicken. Chicken parts (breasts, boneless breasts, thighs) are prepared at our premises under provincial supervision.
