• Keep it Simple

• Work on underlying infrastructure– Regional base map– XML data schema – Improve on data collection procedures, i.e. GPS

• Learn from other collaboratives

Thoughts on Collaboration

Good collaboration requires…

• a ‘culture’ change – a good organizational structure by itself will not work.

• a concerted effort to communicate outside our respective organizations.

• rethinking how we are organized, i.e. GIS groups, IT Groups, Economic development groups, etc.
