The Entrepreneurship Summit Noida-2017 4th-5th March, 2017
Overview
The Entrepreneurship Summit Noida was held on 4th - 5th of March 2017 by SEDG (Student Entrepreneurship Development Group), JSSATEN. There were two major events major events i.e. The Speaker session and The Internship and startup expo. The event experienced a footfall of 500 plus students and 35 startup companies.
Inauguration
The event was inaugurated by our chief guest Mr. Jamal Ahmed, ex-deputy secretary, Noida
Authority along with our guest of honor Dr. Vandana Mathur, NIESBUD, Dr. Shirur, Registrar
JSSATE, Mr. Avinash Handoo, founder TMH and Mrs. Manju Minhas,SEDG Faculty coordinator.

Speaker Session
The Speaker sessions was held in the Multi Purpose Hall of JSSATEN. As many as 24 speakers were
invited to share their journey and life experiences. Each speaker had a different background and
varied age group. Here is an exhaustive list of speakers.
Internship Fair
Two day internship fair was organized at JSS Academy of Technical Education - Noida where startups from a plethora of sectors exhibited themselves and offered full time and part time internships to students from various backgrounds. The internships were offered for various roles in Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project management, Business Development, Marketing, Operations, CRM and Cinematography etc. More than 100 students got internship in the internship fair and others got a chance to interact with industry professionals.

Conclusion The Entrepreneurship Summit Noida served as a medium for students to get exposure to the startup ecosystem and the corporate world, eventually developing them in holistic manner. It bridged the gap between students and industry providing them the right exposure.
