INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY FOR TECHNOLOGY EDUCATORS (ISTE) AND THE NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY STANDARDS FOR STUDENTS STANDARDS SAY, IN PART:(#1) Students Demonstrate CREATIVE THINKING, CONSTRUCT
KNOWLEDGE, and develop innovative products and processes using technology.

OUR BASIC GOAL IS FOR RHS STUDENTS: STUDENTS TO USE TECHNOLOGY TO LOCATE, EVALUATE, COLLECT, DOCUMENT and SYNTHESIZE INFORMATIONFROM A VARIETY OF SOURCES. THEN USE THAT INFORMATION TO CREATE A NEW ORIGINAL CREATIVE PRODUCT.

The name "podcast" combines the terms iPod and broadcast into a single catchy word. As the name suggests, podcasts are audio and video broadcasts that can be played on an iPod.
