RINL CMD Inaugurates “Pragati Marg”

New Road laid in record 25 days Sri P Madhusudan, CMD, RINL today inaugurated the “Pragati Marg”, an alternative road laid from Kendiya Vidyalaya Junction in Ukkunagaram to expansion road at a length of 2.84 kms.

Sri PC Mohapatra, Director (Projects), Dr GBS Prasad, Director (Personnel), Sri DN Rao, Director (Operations), Sri TVS Krishna Kumar, Director (Finance) and union leaders were also present on the occasion. The road has been laid by Town Admn department in a record time of just 25 days with the main aim to ease the traffic congestion. The road would facilitate employees to reach the expansion units directly from township bypassing the main approach road and thereby reduce their travelling distance and time. The road would also act as a surveillance road to check any possible encroachments or theft as it is laid along the western land boundary of VSP.

Speaking on the occasion, Sri Madhusudan complimented the Town Admn department for expeditiously completing the road as a model project. It’s a great achievement, he added. He called upon the collective of RINL to emulate Town Admn Department to complete the other works in the plant as early as possible. The plant is reaching to 7.3 mtpa capacity very soon and he expressed the need to apply safety consciousness and urged the employees to fully utilize the new road facility to reach to the work area safely.
