Barham Church of England Primary School Attendance The overall attendance this week (February 10th to February 14th) was 94.6%. Well done to Owls for 99% attendance! This Weeks News ‘Together for a Better Internet’ was this year’s slogan behind Safer Internet Day which was celebrated on Tuesday. Year 6 led assemblies for Key stage one and key stage two covering online safety and how to manage your online identity. Broome Park Year 5 were lucky with beautiful weather for their walk across the fields to Broome Park on Wednesday where they en- joyed learning about this historic Mansion and one of its owners (Lord Kitchener). A favourite fun fact was how the statues in the garden became pock marked and lost limbs. According to the children the soldiers used them for target practice. This is well-deserved for their aware- ness raising and new initiatives that the school has adopted to make the school more eco-friendly. Well done eco warriors! Wild Garden Thank you to the parents who formed the working party and cleared our wild garden last weekend. We are hoping to complete the clearing and cutting back with one more session. Details to fol- low—all welcome. We meet locally in Bishopsbourne on a Mon-

day evening. Come along and give us a try.

Make some new friends, play games, work
