Using their site – Activity 2• They have a tutorial

• See the practical – Activity 2

• So you can use data or download data

• They have data from your country• And other countries in the region

• Check how easy it is to use

• The data from your country• Must have come from you

• You should be able to get these data• and possibly more detailed data locally• if your local web sites allow and have the data

• Shouldn’t you?

Activity 4: How to present data and reports

• The Swaziland Education data

• Had a small report

• Plus an Excel file for the main talbes and graphs

• which gives flexibility• if put on the web

• We produced a pdf version• which is easy to put on the web• but less flexible

• What should be done• are there other alternatives• do they need a tutorial?

Activity 5: The web survey• Has to be designed

• How do you “measure” a web site

• What could it have

• To satisfy users• from within the country • and from outside

• For the international examples on this course• everything was accessible on the web sites• We just needed to ask permission to use it

• Could that be done for training courses in your country

• Are the local data and reports equally accessible?
