We have a wonderful, steady and faithful corps of Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers. However, their numbers have diminished in recent months owing to happy events, such as retirement to warmer climates and some less happy events, such as illness and be-reavement. You have always been so responsive to our parish’s needs, I know I can count on you now. I will have a training session for Eucharistic ministers. If you are interested in serving in this way, simply come to the training. I will give some instruction, and will have forms for you to fill out, wherein you can indicate your preferred Mass times. We are in particular need for the Sunday 5:30 Mass. Frequently, I find myself being a one-man-liturgical-band, doing altar server, deacon duty, and lector all at once. It’s highly efficient, but exhausting. These posts are open to anyone from high school age on up. (For Eucharistic ministry, having received Confirmation is preferred, but, I’m willing to take things on a case-by-case basis.) Next Training Session: Eucharistic Ministers: July 26th. 7:00PM-8:30PM If you cannot make this time and still want to serve, simply call me or Deacon Jerry, and we will make an appointment with you for private tuition. Blessings! Father Woodland

Called to Serve as Christ Campaign

July 15th, 2018

Have you ever shared with your best friend why you are Catholic? Have you ever invited them to come Mass or to an event here at the parish? You are the best source of evangelism that we have. You are the hands and feet of Christ in todays world and by showing Christ's love to others. The RCIA program is intended for those who are unbaptized or baptized in another faith to immerse themselves in the knowledge of Catholic tenents and tradition. We will meet on Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30 pm in the Upper Conference Room in the Parish Office.

We are still looking for more teachers. If you open your heart to the Holy Spirit, you may find that He is calling to share your faith with His children. No experience is needed and the pay is divine. Please call the office for more details. We are still accepting registrations for next year. If your student is returning to receive sacraments, please come in and register as soon as possible. Classes are filling up quickly. Monday, July 16, will be our next class for catechists. We will be demonstrating how to use the hour most efficiently. There is a nice way to get the hour to flow so we don't have to continue to stop and start. See you there. 6:30 in the parish hall.

Pre-Baptism Classes

English Baptism classes are normally offered the 2nd and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 7:00pm to 8:30pm in the Upper Conference Room in the Parish Office. Both English classes must be attended.

Divine Mercy Chaplet

All are welcome, every Monday at 6pm in the Adoration Chapel to join

in meditations, prayers, and the recitation of the Divine Mercy Chaplet.

Eucharistic Adoration

“Would you spend just one hour with Me?”

Our Adoration Chapel is open 24 hours a day for qui-et reflection, prayer, sacred reading and recitation of the rosary. Please visit our Lord and give praise to Him.

Our thanks for the sacrifices made by those who keep

our Lord company during the middle of the night so that perpetual adoration may be a reality.

Remember to log your name in our visitor book!
