The Ajax Series includes a comprehensive line of high and low pressure steam boilers ideal for a variety of

applications. Available in sizes up to 300 BHP, Ajax Series steam boilers feature a large steam drum design to

enhance performance by providing a more stable water level and larger vapor space. This allows for more

consistent feed water and blowdown operations while reducing water level fl uctuations inherent in other water

tube design.

Standard EquipmentFeatures• Capacities up to 12.6 MMBTU/hr (301.1 BHP).• Inclined water tube with steam drum.• ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section I stamped for 15 psig and Section IV for 150 psig maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP).• Full access to combustion chamber, water and steam sections.• Floating head design eliminates thermal shock.• Tubes are easily replaced using common straight boiler tubing.• Completely factory assembled and wired.• All models are E.T.L. listed to U.L. 795, U.L. 726 and CAN 1-3.1 standards.

Boiler• High temperature 2750 ºF cast refractory, 2-1/2 to 4 in. thick (Forced Draft).• High temperature 2000 ºF cast refractory, 2 to 3 in. thick (Atmospheric and Premix).• 2 in. O.D. SA-178 grade A steel tubes.• Full face headplate gasket.•18 gauge galvanized steel jacket with air wall for low jacket temperatures.• Steam and water sections, including tubesheets and removable headplates, are made from pressure vessel quality steel 3/8 to 1 in. thick.• Boiler legs with bolt-down lugs.

Controls & Trim• Standard controls are CSD-1 compliant. • Operating control.• High limit pressure control with manual reset.• Probe type low water cut-off with manual reset and water gauge glass• Main power and main flame indicators.• Temperature-pressure gauge and 15 psig (HR model) or 150 psig (SR model) ASME approved pressure relief valve.• Electronic ignition.• Safety shut-off valve.• Pilot gas valve.• Auxiliary gas valve.
