Thanks to all of you for being so wonderfully supportive of the new direct sale Pie Fund-raiser. Many of you ordered pies and/or helped with advertising to family, friends, and church members. 80 pies have been pre-sold, but we’ll bake 100 because there are sure to be folks who haven’t heard of the new venture and will want to buy a pie. For a first year undertaking, the results are fantastic.
Those of you who have fruit to donate, please bring it to the center on Wednesday, July 6th. All the baking will take place on Thursday, July 7th, and pies will be ready for pickup or delivery on the 8th. Membership & Newsletter renewal is underway. Forms were included in the previous newsletter, but if you need one just give us a call or stop by the front desk. You can also renew online at cityofsandy.com. Even if you receive the newsletter free via email, please take time to renew. Membership is by donation and earns a spot on the birthday page in the newsletter and the bulletin board in the dining room.
