President’s Message

Hello fellow members; We come to the end of the ISA 2011 year with a lot accomplished. Next year Rob Dickson will be taking over for me and he is full of enthusiasm so please support him as you all did for me while I was President The executive is already working on next year and some of the ideas put forth should help the section increase membership and improve on the dinner meeting speakers This will help attendance at the dinners meetings. At the last dinner meeting Lambton College asked for our help to get their students into the work force.

Another year of graduates is coming into the work force and looking for employment. The college continues to put more talent on the street how ever they are finding it difficult to find work in Sarnia. The student section has been a great help to our section this year, so remember them if any of your companies are hiring new staff. Please contact any of the executive and we will get you in contact with the correct people to assist. Of course contacting the college directly is still the best approach. The college offers great incentives to hire these students so take advantage of these offerings.

Canada is going into an election year once more lets all hope the right people are elected to help with job opportunities for all our members.

At this time I would like to thank the executive for all their support over the past two years, it was an experience I felt privileged to experience and was a great benefit to my career objectives. I will still be on the executive next year as past president and will be there to support Rob Dickson in his new role.

Don’t forget to attend the May dinner meeting; it is the best one of the whole year with entertainment and an inexpensive way to take you significant other on a very nice evening. Please join us bring your friends. If you have never been to one of these events it is worth your time for one evening. It is even on a Monday so it will not interfere with any events you have on the weekend.

I would also like to express thanks to our membership and the suppliers for all there support at the dinner meetings and the ISA show this year, with out your support ISA would no longer exist.

Well that’s all folks; see you at the May dinner meeting.

Thank you again for your support of our section Jeffrey Talbot Sarnia Section President.
