Save The Date

Come back in 2018!! The 2018 IEEE Broadcast Symposium will be held on Tuesday, October 9 - Wednesday, October 11 at the Key Bridge Marriott in Arlington, VA. This event offers attendees an exciting, timely, and informative three-day program with tutorials, technical sessions, exhibit floor, and poster sessions.

Broadcast engineering experts from around the world will be presenting and demoing equipment/technologies. The high level content that is offered at the IEEE Broadcast Symposium is something that cannot be found at any other event. In many cases the original standards setting authors will be on hand to present, as well as answer questions in an intimate setting.

The exceptional technical program, combined with the opportunity to meet with other broadcast engineers and vendors from around the U.S. and around the world, make the 2018 IEEE Broadcast Symposium a must-attend event.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to reach a key market for your products and services. These exclusive opportunities are offered on a first come, first served basis, so act now and reserve your place!

Welcome Message from the Event Chair

I would like to welcome all of the participants to our second IEEE BTS Pulse virtual event. This event is very closely related to the issues we encounter during the pandemic. The topics discussed in this three day event, ATSC 3, 5G, Drones and SFN are not just the game changer technologies but also techniques that have enabled us to deal with the current situation and will continue to play an important role in the future.

The challenges we have all encountered have put our determination and our engineering capabilities to the test and good news is that we have been successful in meeting and exceeding those challenges. We have been able to replace in-person classes with on line courses, meetings and virtual events like this one.

The ability for BTS to quickly develop this three PULSE event is an indication of our resolve that the “Show must go on”.

With hope of a better 2021, I welcome you to the second edition of Pulse.

Sincerely,Reza Soleymani
