How the Use of Ultra-Weatherable Fluoropolymer Coatings Preserves Bridge

Appearance and Lowers Life-Cycle Cost

WEBINAR OVERVIEWThe proven ability of FEVE uoropolymer topcoats to reduce the opportunity for corrosion to take hold on bridge surfaces is powerful; corrosion prevention is the key to uoropolymer’s success as a coating. Even after decades of exposure to weathering and corrosive factors, FEVE uoropolymer coatings low permeability to oxygen, water and chloride is unchanged.

Additionally, uoropolymer coatings lose little coating thickness over time, giving them the power to effectively block corrosion initiators for 50 years or more. The result: signi cant life-cycle cost advantages; lower environmental impact; and better-looking bridges.

AD MATERIAL guidelines

General RegulationsAgency Commission: Recognized agencies are allowed 15% of gross billing provided they supply us with final files and the account is paid within 30 days of invoice date (no cash discount). 1.5% charge per month on accounts 30 days or more in arrears. For annual contracts paid in advance, there is a 5% discount. Commission is not allowed on mechanical or special charges, including those for artwork, photos, engravings, printing, reprints, backup of inserts, tip-ins and all other special handling requirements. In the event of nonpayment, the pub-lisher reserves the right to hold advertiser and/or its advertising agency jointly and severally liable for such monies as are due and payable to the publisher. Agency commission will not be paid if the submitted ad material requires additional work on the part of the publisher.

Rate Protective Clause: If and when new rates are announced, advertisers will be protected throughout the duration of their annual schedules, provided the schedule is placed prior to the effective date of the rate increase.

Publishers’ Copy Protective Clause: In consideration of the acceptance of any advertising from the advertiser and/or the advertising agency for publication at the rates set forth in this rate card, the advertiser and/or the advertising agency represents and warrants that all material delivered to the publisher for publication shall be free of libel and that publication thereof will not violate or infringe any copyright, trademark, right of privacy or any other statutory or common-law property right of any person, and that the advertiser and/or the advertising agency will indemnify, defend and save harmless the publisher, its agents, assigns and successors against any claim, demand, costs, expenses and damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees incurred by the publisher, arising out of or in connection with any breach by the advertiser and/or the advertising agency of any of the foregoing. Production Charges: Any changes, additions, deletions or corrections made to an advertisement at the request of the advertising client or agency will be at the expense of the client and/or agency.

Short Rates and Rebates: Advertisers will be short-rated if, within a 12-month period from the date of their first insertion, they do not use the amount of space upon which their billings have been based. Advertisers will be rebated if, within a 12-month period from the date of the first insertion, they have used sufficient additional space to warrant a lower rate than that at which they have been billed.

Contracts and Copy Conditions: Advertisements are accepted upon the representation that the advertiser and its agency have the right to publish the contents thereof. Advertiser and advertising agency agree to indemnify, defend and save harmless the publisher from any and all liability for content of advertisements printed.

Advertising That Simulates Editorial Content: Advertisements that in the opinion of the publisher resemble editorial material or the publication’s editorial format will carry the word “Advertisement” in at least 10-pt. type at top or bottom.

Regulations Not Stated Elsewhere in Rate Card: See specific and detailed references in item No. 14 of this publication’s listing in Standard Rate and Data Service (SRDS).

Cancellation of Orders: Cancellation of orders must be in writing and will not be accepted after closing dates.
