CUSTOMIZING A TEMPLATE

The Ad Templates section of the Library contains various pre-approved ad layouts with all of the branding

elements needed to start a new project. They are designed to be easily customized with product details,

prices, terms and more.

Begin by clicking on the Ad Templates in the library pallet. Templates are divided by National Promotions

that are grouped by month; and Brand Ads that can be used any time, organized by brand.

The available templates are seen by clicking either the Drop-Ins link in the navigation, or the folder image

in the Main List section.

Let’s say we want to customize the 6x4 Perfect Sleeper PSL Drop-In Ad. We’ll navigate to this template, first by clicking Brand Ad Templates, and then Perfect Sleeper.

NOTE: The Copy Default Content is pre-checked. You should not unselect this field unless you are sure you do not want to use the pre-approved content for this template.

Begin by customizing the content in Block A – represented by the highlighted yellow block

on the thumbnail image. Enter Customized Messaging and the Price. Then click Next Block.

At the same time both the Data Block in the center section and the yellow highlight have shifted to Block B.

Repeat the process by entering the Messaging and Price for the Queen Size Adjustable Mattress. Click anywhere

outside the block to see your changes in the thumbnail image.

The Messaging and Price you entered is now in the thumbnail image and Block A content is now highlighted green.

Preview you work by clicking the PDF Preview link near the top of the page. If you need to make changes, simply

enter the new price and Preview again. Once your ad looks correct, click Save & Exit and your customized ad will

be saved to the My Projects area.

To Download a Hi Res PDF of the Ad, just click the PDF icon below the thumbnail and save it to your desktop.
