Principal’s Ponderings

Beyond School Curriculum

It has been very pleasing to see a number of classes immersing

themselves in outdoor learning over the past few weeks including

excursions to Cleland National Park and the Adelaide Botanic

Gardens. These opportunities allow the classroom to come alive and

in doing so bring an extra dimension to students’ learning. Thank you

to the teachers, SSO’s and volunteers who made this possible.

School Events

Recently our school has been a hive of activity with Jump Rope for

Heart (Mrs Mechis), Book Fair (Mrs Ramsay) and Senyszyn Science

Awards (Mrs Opie & Mrs Maslin). It has been tremendous to see the

students participate and enjoy these activities and we thank the

above mentioned teachers and all others who have made these

events possible.
