Blessed be God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Blessed be God’s kingdom now and forever.

The Lord be with you.

PRAYER OF PREPARATION

Almighty God,to whom all hearts are open, all desires known,and from whom no secrets are hidden:cleanse the thoughts of our heartsby the inspiration of your Holy Spirit,that we may perfectly love you,and worthily magnify your holy name,through Christ our Lord. Amen.

‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one;you shall love the Lord your Godwith all your heart, and with all your soul,and with all your mind,and with all your strength.’Jesus said: ‘This is the great and first commandment. Almighty God, who promised forgiveness to all who turn to him in faith: Pardon you and set you free from all your sins, strengthen you in all goodness and keep you in eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.Amen

Let us together affirm the faith of the Church:

I believe in God, the Father almighty,creator of heaven and earth.I believe in Jesus Christ,

God’s only Son, our Lord,who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,born of the virgin Mary,suffered under Pontius Pilate,was crucified, died, and was buried;he descended to the dead.

AFFIRMATION OF FAITH

On the third day he rose from the dead;he ascended into heaven,and is seated at the right hand

of the Father;from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.I believe in the Holy Spirit,the holy catholic Church,the communion of saints,the forgiveness of sins,the resurrection of the body,and the life everlasting. Amen.

PRAYERS

Let us pray for the world and for the church.

Lord in your mercy,

hear our prayers.

Accept our prayers through Jesus Christ our Lord, who taught us to pray,

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as in heaven.Give us today our daily bread.Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil.For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and for ever. THE GREAT THANKSGIVING

The Lord be with you. And also with you.

Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. It is right to give our thanks and praise.

It is indeed right, it is our duty, our joy and our salvation, that we should at all times and in all places give thanks to you, almighty and everlasting God, through Jesus Christ your only Son our Lord.

For he is the true high priest, who has freed us from our sins and made us a royal priesthood to serve you, our God and Father.

We break this bread to share in the body of Christ.

and feed on him in our hearts

by faith with thanksgiving.

PRAYER AFTER COMMUNION

Gracious God,we thank you that in this sacramentyou assure us of your goodness and love.Accept our sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving and help us to grow in love and obediencethat we may serve you in the worldand finally be brought to that tablewhere all your saints feast with you for ever.

Most loving God,you send us into the world you love.Give us grace to go thankfully and with couragein the power of your Spirit.
