A CHANGE IN THE FRONT OFFICE- With the growing needs of the parish it has been decided that we need a full time Office Manager at St. Peter’s. So, sadly, after many years of dedicated service we say thank you to Cynthia Pfaff, our part-time Parish Secretary. We also say “thanks’” to Kay Singer for all she has done for us in the office. We don’t say “goodbye” because they will always be a part of our parish family! They have been wonderful attributes to St. Peter’s and we wish them every blessing. They will remain with us through June. Priscilla Spielman will be changing positions as well. She will now be in the Receptionist Office two days a week. After 20+ years of service to St. Peter’s parishioners we hope the fewer working hours will provide more time for her family and personal activities. PARISH REGISTRATION/INFORMATION VERFICATION DRIVE: There will be a parish registration drive & parishioner information verification after each weekend mass from Saturday, May 7th through Sunday, May 22nd. We ask that all parishioners take a few moments to verify their parish information with our team located in the narthex or, if you are not registered with St. Peter’s please take a few moments to do so. We are trying to kick off an online system for our parishioners and will need valid/current email addresses in our database to get it up and running. A GARDEN TEA PARTY will be presented by St. Peter’s Flower Ministry in Sullivan Hall on May 22, 2011 – 2 to 4pm. Tickets will be on sale after all Masses on May 8th and 15th or you may contact any member of the Flower Ministry or call Marilyn Potter 301-829-9616 or 301-606-6328. Come and join us for a fun filled Tea Party, Silent Auction, Plant Sales Table, and Program demonstrating the change in ‘Floral Designs through the Decades’. Space is limited!! This is a fund raiser for the Flower Ministry which does such an outstanding job filling our Church with the beautiful flowers for the praise of our Lord.
