We don’t say “goodbye” because they will always be a part of our parish family! They have been wonderful attributes to St. Peter’s and we wish them every blessing. They will remain with us through June. Priscilla Spielman will be changing positions as well. She will now be in the Receptionist Office two days a week. After 20+ years of service to St. Peter’s parishioners we hope the fewer working hours will provide more time for her family and personal activities. All profit from sales will go toward the continued decorating of our beautiful church. GABRIEL NETWORK : Toddler bed is very much needed. Call Catharine Martin 301-865-9089 if you can help. “HANDMAIDS OF THE LORD” – Volunteers needed to give glory and praise to God by helping to clean and maintain the beauty of His House. Much help is needed, if interested please call Diane at 301-898-0833. MOTHER S DAY SPIRITUAL BOUQUET MASS CARDS are available in the Narthex of the Church today. Special Masses will be offered on Mother’s Day, May 8th for requests submitted. Donations can be placed in the special marked pink bag in the Narthex, the collection basket or mailed to St. Peter’s.

TUITION ASSISTANCE: If you are seeking tuition assistance for your child attending a Catholic School, please stop by the office to pick up a Financial Aid Request Form. Children of St. John’s Regional Catholic School should apply through the school. Forms are due back by May 31st.

FLOWERS FOR THE ALTAR We will be needing flowers on a regular basis to beautify our Church. To enable us to do this we are offering opportunities to honor special occasions for the living and deceased for $80. PERPETUAL EUCHARISTIC ADORATION All are invited to our Adoration Chapel to visit our Eucharistic Risen Lord. He is always with us as He promised. Also, we have a need for people for these available hours: 4:00pm on Tuesday; 7:00 to 8:00am Thursdays, to partner; 2:00pm Fridays, weekly or as an alternate; and, 11:00pm alternate Sundays. ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER: Just a reminder that Electronic Funds Transfer, or EFT, is a dependable and easy way to give your weekly donations to St. Peter’s. You can set up for once a month giving on the 1st or 15th of each month, or you can choose bi-monthly giving on the 1st and 15th of the month. EFT allows St. Peter’s to be more accurate in budgeting monthly expenses.
