Unlocking the History of Salford Quays www.thelowryusq.com

Salford Quays was once at the heart of the city’s economy and industry importing exotic goods from all over the world, employing thousands of local people.

The Unlocking Salford Quays heritage project helped local people explore, record and share their own stories of The Quays. These stories have been brought to life by artists in a permanent public sculpture trail around The Quays. From September 2012 The Lowry will now offer these new workshops to schools.

Seasonal Workshop: Galleries
