Practise writing our spelling words for 10 - 15 minutes.
A good way to do this is to copy the word as many times as
you can in one minute. Get your grown up to time you.
Can you practise finding one less than a number to 10.
Remember when we find one less it is the same as take
away 1. The answer gets smaller.
Challenge – If finding one less within 10 is too easy, try
finding one less than any number to 20.

Can you use blankets and cushions to make a comfy
space to read?
Yesterday you learnt about the life cycle of a butterfly. Can you use your art skills to
create a butterfly?
Here are some ideas of how to do it:
Print a colouring picture and colour it in
Draw a butterfly shape and use felt tips to colour it in
Fold a piece of paper in half, unfold it and paint one side. Fold it
back up and press it to make both sides the same, once it is
dry cut it into the shape of a butterfly.

exercise routine or an
obstacle course in your
living room or garden.
