Sign-up for an AWS Educate Starter Account

Go to: https://www.awseducat.com/Registration

1. Select Student and click “Next” 2. When filling out the application:

Enter your institution name OR if your

institution is a member, please select

it from the drop down

Enter your institution email address

Enter the month and year in which

you will complete your graduation

3. After completing the Captcha, you will

be asked to choose an account type,

please select Educate Starter Account

after reviewing the FAQs at :

https://www.awseducate.com/faqs?app=2

4. After selecting next, open the link sent

to your email to accept the AWS Educate

Terms & Conditions and verify your

email address

5. After completion, you will be directed to

a “Thank You” page confirming your

application has been submitted and is

under review. Application are reviewed

within 24-48 hours.

With an AWS Educate Starter Account, you will receive either $75 in preloaded credits with member

Register without Credit Card

Create an AWS Account

If you do not have a standalone AWS account, create an AWS account on aws.amazon.com

a. You will need to use an email address not associated with any previous account

b. You will need to follow automated account verification process which includes adding a valid credit card and a verification phone call with pin code entry

Sign up for AWS Educate

Once you have your AWS account set up, retain the account ID information found at the top right of your AWS Management Console when logged in then:

1) Go to: https://www.awseducate.com/Registration 2) Select Student and click “Next” 3) When filling out the application:

• Enter your institution name OR if your institution is a member, please select it from the drop down

• Enter your institution issued email address • Enter your 12-digit AWS Account ID

4) After completing the Captcha, you will be asked to choose an account type, please enter your

AWS account ID or before selecting the Educate Starter Account review FAQs at: https://www.awseducate.com/faqs?app=2

5) After selecting next, open the link sent to your email to accept the AWS Educate Terms and Conditions and verify your email address

6) After completion, you will be redirected to a “Thank you!” page confirming your application has been submitted and is under review

Redeem Credit to Account

Once you receive your credit code via your welcome email, log into your Management Console and click your Admin tab, followed by “My Billing Dashboard” at the top right of your screen.

1) Click “Credits” on the left side of the screen and enter promo code

received, Captcha and click “Redeem” 2) Refresh the page and you can view your credits under:

Below are all the credits you have redeemed with AWS. Credits will automatically be applied to your bill.
