All the 2500HD models in HSV’s Silverado range come with a huge maximum towing capacity of up to 5.89 tonnes*. To help avoid any slips along the way, the range is also equipped with StabiliTrak®, a highly advanced stability control system that features Proactive Roll Avoidance and Traction Control with Electronic Sway Control and Hill Start Assist. All three 2500HD LTZ models also feature 35mm twin-tube Rancho gas-charged shock absorbers, a 33.6mm front stabiliser bar, an underbody transfer case shield and Hill Descent

Control. To help make hauling and trailering easier, the LTZ models also come with Digital Steering Assist, a system that helps deliver stability at high speeds, manoeuvrability at low speeds and excellent feel and response. Lighting the way on the Silverado range are halogen projector headlamps, while the LTZ models also enjoy the benefit of integrated fog lamps. At the rear, every Silverado features integrated corner bumper steps to help make loading and unloading easier. The LTZ models also offer the benefit of

an E-Z lift and lower locking tailgate. Of course, one thing comes standard on every Silverado, and that’s massive road presence. The 2500HD LTZ, for example, features 18" chromed alloys wrapped in Michelin LTX A/T2 tyres, an imposing chrome grille surround and chrome bodyside mouldings and door handles. The result is a look that’s nothing short of road-dominating.

HEAVY-DUTY POWER. For over 100 years, Chevrolet has forged an enviable reputation for building ‘full-size’ pick-up trucks with legendary powertrains. Needless to say, HSV engineers are passionate about great engines, that’s why every model in the Silverado range is powered by a Duramax 6.6L Turbo Diesel V8. Capable of producing a massive 332kW of power and a staggering 1,234Nm of torque, the engine features an exhaust brake that

helps reduce the amount of conventional braking needed while towing a heavy trailer or driving downhill. Making the most of the engine’s incredible power and torque is an Allison 1000 6-speed automatic transmission. An external transmission oil cooler is also on-hand to help ensure optimal performance when operating under a heavy load. Along with an electric transfer case, dual battery and 3.73 rear axle ratio,

the Silverado powertrain also boasts a heavy-duty automatic locking rear differential. When the differential senses any significant difference in wheel speed, it locks to turn both rear wheels in unison for added traction. BIG ON BEING BOLD. The Silverado 2500HD LTZ Midnight Edition makes a big, bold statement wherever it goes. Offered exclusively in black, the Midnight Edition’s unique features start with aggressive 18" black alloy wheels wrapped in Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tyres. Adding more menace to the look is an imposing

black grille with chrome bars, black bodyside mouldings, black door handles, black front and rear bumpers, power adjustable and heated black cap exterior mirrors, black projector headlamp bezels and black Chevrolet ‘bow-tie ’ badging. As a final touch, the Midnight Edition also boasts

a black spray-on bedliner. Add to this the fact that the Midnight Edition also comes with all the power, capabilities and features of the standard 2500HD LTZ, and it’ll come as no surprise that this black-hearted beast has all the go to match the show.

EXTRA LARGE LUXURY.

Inside the incredibly spacious cabin, the Silverado is anything but truck-like. All three 2500HD LTZ models feature Jet Black, perforated leather-appointed front bucket seats. These luxurious seats are both heated and ventilated and feature 10-way power adjustment, 2-way power lumbar control and 2-position driver memory. To ensure the perfect driving position, power adjustable pedals also come standard. All the LTZ models also feature a manual tilt and telescoping steering column and a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio and cruise controls. Entertainment in the LTZ models is via a MyLink® Infotainment system with 8" diagonal, full-colour touchscreen. The system includes voice-activated technology, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ capability for compatible phones, Bluetooth audio streaming and hands-free smartphone integration, a 7-speaker BOSE sound system, USB ports and an auxiliary jack. As you would expect, dual-zone automatic climate control is also standard on the LTZ models along with an impressive range of driver-focused technologies including Hill Descent Control, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert, Front and Rear Park Assist and a rear-view camera. Other thoughtful LTZ conveniences include remote start, a universal garage door opener, wireless phone charging and a power sliding rear window. This is luxury, space, comfort and practicality at its very best.

BIG ON STYLE. The 2500HD LTZ Custom Sport comes fully loaded with a massive amount of style. Offered exclusively in Summit White, the Custom Sport’s sophisticated and polished appearance begins with 20" polished alloy wheels wrapped in Goodyear Wrangler SR-A all-terrain tyres. Taking the sophistication and

style up another notch are a striking white grille with chrome bars and distinctive white bumpers front and rear. Adding function to sophisticated form is the same spray-on bedliner that also features on the Midnight Edition. Chemically bonded, the spray-on bedliner provides a textured, non-skid surface that

permanently bonds to the truck bed and creates a watertight seal to help prevent cargo from shifting. Needless to say, the Custom Sport also comes with all the power, performance and features of the standard 2500HD LTZ model. Put simply, the Custom Sport adds heavy-duty style to heavy-duty function.

BIG SHOULDERS TO CARRY AN ENORMOUS LOAD.

# 2500HD WT maximum payload capacity (975kg) is based on kerb weight excluding accessories and occupants. Front and rear axle loads must not be exceeded.

Not surprisingly, the WT in 2500HD WT stands for ‘work truck’. With the same power and towing capacity as the LTZ models plus a touch more load carrying capacity#, the WT is built to tackle any job with ease. The big chrome grille surround, chrome front bumper and chrome rear bumper with corner steps instantly signal this is a heavy-duty work truck that means business. Completing the rugged exterior look are 18" steel wheels wrapped in Goodyear Wrangler SR-A tyres,

black front recovery hooks and 4" assist steps. Inside the WT, a 40/20/40 split-bench front seat in Dark Ash with Jet Black interior accents combines with a 60/40 rear bench seat with fold-up functionality to provide seating for up to 6 people. However, while the WT is a ‘work truck’, the impressive features inside the cabin create a far more premium experience. Entertainment is via a MyLink® 6-speaker audio system that includes a 7" diagonal colour touchscreen,
