B Voysey raised a matter of injured Pony being shown: discussed at length as to how the
Society can intervene, with the good health and welfare of the Pony being the main objective.
The need to include in Conditions of Entry to Shows, a standard clause regarding Ponies who
show any signs of illness, injury, etc will not be permitted to enter the ring this should be
issued to all states. W. Chirgwin to follow up with all states
Request for change of Pony name, Letter from to enable Pony to be registered as Appendix
and transferred into her name the breeder has told member that she is unable to use the pony
registered name the Pony in question has had the papers returned to the office as it had gone
over height. As the pony has already been Foal Recorded under no circumstances can a Pony’s
registered name be changed? W Chirgwin to write letter to owner so they have the opportunity
to comment on legitimate reason why Pony should not be Appendix registered: request that
response be received within 28 days or Society will proceed with registration.
Email S. Moore regarding:
1. Amendments from last Meeting Minutes. Only amendments from those present at the
Meeting were acceptable, but it was noted that S Moore’s previous correspondence
regarding Insurance / day Membership had referred to Day Membership not Day
Insurance.
2. Request justification for National Committee decision to exclude day Memberships:
detailed why it should not be excluded and should be allowed. B. Voysey to contact S
Moore referring to previous correspondence she had provided.
Insurance Renewal: B Voysey gave Committee an overview of renewal provisions and the
increase in limit of liability for Public Liability to $20million: premium $13,620.90,
Association Liability increased to $2million: premium $1,911.82 Voluntary Workers Personal
Accident $760.18 with total premium $16,292.90. Hand, Led and Ridden Classes, included up
to 6 year old child and Day Membership now exclusion on our Insurance. Insurance cover
discussed and clarified.
Moved W Chirgwin that B Voysey contact AON our Insurance Broker and advise them that
she is the only contact person that they should discuss AMPS Insurance policies with 2nd

Watkins.
G. Drust has asked to have a space for a phone number to be placed on Measurer’s Application
Form – M Stringer has said that she will add this to the form and send it out to G. Drust and
also add to the Website
