Sub-project 2(oriented to demands) Response and Autonomous Control of EV Aggregator
Tasks:
n Modeling of EV Aggregator under diverse charging mode
n Impact of mass EVs charging on power grid, including T&D
n Optimal management and autonomous control of EV
Aggregator considering transportation and energy
information
Purpose:
l Charge EV securely and efficiently
l Gain more additional value of EVs
from the grid side

Sub-project 3 (oriented to grids) Online Distributed Network Modeling & Analysis
Tasks:
n Online distributed network modeling, including distributed
state estimation, parameter identification.
n Online distributed network analysis for whole source-
transmission-distribution-grid
n Grid operational risk assessment considering multiple
uncertainties
Purpose:
l More fast modeling & simulation suitable
for fast fluctuation of power flow
l Reduce operational risk for SG

Tasks:
n Stochastic dynamics with its simulation for SG
n Decoupled stability assessment under diverse stochastic
disturbance, including fast/slow stochastic power injections and
stochastic network reconfiguration.

Conclusions
n Update of EMS is a common requirement of
development of SG in China
n The vision of SG-EMS will be an EMS family with
interactions as well.
n The architecture of EMS will be transited to a
distributed one with (Autonomy + Synergy).
n Such a research will be supported by 973 project
for next 5 years in China.
n The door of collaboration is open!
