Tolls Campaign Photo Competition

•Outline: A photo competition with all attractions and activities featured in the video given as prizes (totalling 12). 3 prizes per week over 4 weeks in August 2019.

•Objective: To encourage the general public to share their #MyForestofDeanmoments with us, post their photos/videos on social media using the hashtag, engage with and follow our social media accounts, increase posts about the Forest.

•Targeting: People within max 1.5 hours drive across both Severn Bridges after tolls removal December 2018.

Photo Competition: Reach8 posts: 1 per week for each competition. 1 winner per week.

Advertising total budget = £300. First post £150 boost, all following 3 posts £50 each.

Facebook: Total reach (paid and organic): 114,441

Twitter: Total impressions: 12,464

Instagram: Total reach: 7,781

Total reach: 134,686

Photo Competition: WinnersWe had around 400 photos and videos entered into the competition. #MyForestofDean has now been used over 700 times on Instagram.

Winning photos chosen with consideration of our campaign themes of adventure, fun, nature, heritage, food & drink.
