This is a full day course of the crises prevention training that has the following objectives:(1)to strengthen the understanding of all Nonviolent Crises Intervention training concepts,(2)to develop an understanding of autism spectrum disorders (ASD),(3) to expand on the CPI Crises Development Model as it applies to the unique needs and learning styles of individuals with ASD,(4) and to problem solve a variety of scenarios that staff may encounter when supporting individuals with ASD during a crises situation.
